Strategic Partnership Announced Between Black Folks Camp Too and Ramble

Creating More Inclusive Outdoor Experiences Through Unity and Collaboration

[Brevard, NC] – In a move towards increasing Unity and inclusion in the outdoor community and beyond, Black Folks Camp Too and Ramble are thrilled to announce their strategic partnership through Black Folks Camp Too’s industry-changing Unity Blaze Certification Program

These two leading organizations have partnered to promote diverse outdoor experiences, amplify their shared mission, and improve their collective Return On Inclusion in the Outdoor community.

Black Folks Camp Too’s foundational mission to Invite and Welcome “more” Black folks to camp and experience the Outdoor lifestyle with ANY and EVERYONE” while increasing Unity in the Outdoor Community and Beyond aligns seamlessly with Ramble, a Colorado-based collective of individuals who believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Ramble is committed to creating a more inclusive outdoor camping community where every individual feels valued, heard, and empowered to embrace nature.

Earl B. Hunter, Jr, Founder and President of Black Folks Camp Too, says: “The real power of Unity Blaze Certification is educating the Outdoor Industry and Lifestylers on the WHY! In addition, we have positioned our Unity Blaze to be the symbol to Invite and Welcome more folks to Outdoor Lifestyle. When folks of ALL races, ages and genders see the Unity Blaze symbol, they know they are Invited and Welcomed! Ramble locations will now feature the Unity Blaze at their campgrounds, on their website and more.”

Both organizations focus on breaking down barriers, building bridges, and ensuring that everyone feels Invited and Welcomed in outdoor spaces.

Christopher Smith, Director of Marketing at Ramble, added: “our partnership with Black Folks Camp Too aligns perfectly with our core values as we work together to break down barriers and foster a sense of belonging for all.”

As Black Folks Camp Too and Ramble continue to work towards increasing unity in the outdoor community and beyond, this strategic partnership is a testament to what can be achieved when like-minded entities come together for a greater purpose.

About Black Folks Camp Too (BFCT):

BFCT was founded in 2019 by Earl B. Hunter, Jr. with a mission of removing fear, adding knowledge, and inviting more Black folks to camp, and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with any and everyone. BFCT was created not only to inspire more Black folks to get outside, but to bring awareness to the reasons why more Black folks have not been participating in the outdoors, what the current industry and lifestylers can do to help create more Unity, and why they should. At the heart of BFCT is the belief that when more Black folks become active camping enthusiasts and begin enjoying the outdoor lifestyle, it will help break down barriers to create more inclusive communities and stronger relationships overall.
